Water Service Technician – Nashville & Knoxville
Do you have mechanical inclination and problem-solving skills? Do you have the ability to educate our customers and sale products? This position might be for you! Hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. No weekends!! 1-year previous plumbing and/or water conditioning service/installation experience preferred but not required. This is a full-time, permanent employment position. American Home Design is looking for a strong customer service orientated individual to join our team as a Water Sales/Service Technician. Our Techs Service, Sale and repair residential and commercial water treatment equipment. 1+ year working experience in a customer facing service position. You will be expected to use your above average problem solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues that arise throughout your day. Our Service Technicians are a fundamental part of our success providing face to face customer service to our existing and prospective customer base. You must have above average communication skills.

Outside Sales
American Home Design is a locally-owned & operated home improvement company serving Middle TN for over 40 years. We are looking for Outside Sales Representatives to go on pre-set appointments into homes and provide the information needed to invest in the home improvement product via an exact, well trained sales system. We sell and install Replacement Windows, Outdoor Living Products, Bath Remodeling, Walk-in Bathtubs, etc. American Home Design has an excellent reputation for taking care of our customers and maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We have on-going marketing efforts every day to bring in new leads for our company. We advertise on TV, Newspaper, Events, Shows, etc. Plus we have a $1 million dollar showroom in Goodlettsville where potential customers can come in and see our products before they purchase. Our Call Center schedules the majority of the Reps’ appointments.
Scope & Responsibility:
Outside Sales Representatives run two appointments a day meeting potential customers at their home; usually one afternoon and one evening appointment. Our Call Center schedules the appointment times to ensure that all homeowners and decision makers will be present when the rep goes out to their home. They meet with the potential customers and assess their needs/wants via a survey. They will do a presentation on a laptop computer, followed-by guiding the potential customers through a design process to determine what work can be done that will meet their home and budgetary needs. The reps give the homeowners all the information needed in order to make a decision. They will collect a deposit and get the signed documents needed to take the next steps with the new customer’s project. At times, the reps will work with our in-house Finance Manager to get financing for our customers.

Remote Call Center Representatives
Scope and Responsibility:
We are looking for Call Center Representatives to schedule appointments over the phone for a free in-home estimate (or free water test) with all homeowners and decision makers present. We have Outside Sales Representatives that run the appointments our Call Center schedules. Our Call Center Representatives call people who are in our database of potential clients to discuss their home improvement project or getting their water tested. The people we call have contacted us in the past and have shown some interest in either having an estimate on one of our projects or wanting to win one of our products (contest). In addition to our database, we have on-going marketing efforts every day to bring in new leads; we advertise on TV, Newspaper, Events, Shows, etc. Plus, we have a showroom in Goodlettsville where potential customers can come in and see our products before they purchase. Not everyone we call is expecting a phone call from us that day. So, it is important that our Representatives find a need or interest in one of our products quickly & schedule an appointment within the next few days. We provide paid training and scripts that will help our Representatives have immediate success on the phones. We have part-time and full-time positions in our Call Center. We are located at 880 Conference Drive in Goodlettsville TN 37072; we’re about 15 minutes north of downtown Nashville.

Marketing Promoters
Scope & Responsibility:
A Marketing Promoter’s job is to engage all people at the location they are working to generate an interest in one of our home improvement products, or to participate in a water survey. If promoting the American Home Design products, the Promoter will schedule an appointment for a free in-home estimate with all homeowners and decision makers present. If promoting our water survey in Home Depot stores, the goal is to get as many qualified surveys completed as possible during your shift. People shopping at Home Depot, Sam’s Club, or at an event are not expecting to get stopped to talk about home improvements or to participate in a water survey, so it is important that a Promoter act quickly and not be afraid to engage people. We provide paid training and scripts that will help our Promoter have immediate success. The Promoter position is a part-time position that could develop into more hours based on performance. Flexibility to go to more than one location will enable us to give you more hours.
